A mirror doesn’t have to be dramatic and huge to be effective. This wood bead mirror is simple yet so stylish and noticeable.
The finished look of this mirror is beautiful. You can hang it on a wall, prop it up on a table or dresser and more.
This mirror is perfect for a living room, bedroom, bathroom, or anywhere in your home you want to add pretty decor and usability.
This is an incredibly easy DIY that you can make in about 30 minutes or less!

What you need to make the Scandi Style Wood Bead Mirror
Wood Circular Disk. This is the basis of the mirror and the background to the mirror.
Self Adhesive Mirror. This is the mirror that you will adhere to the wooden disk.
Split Wood Balls. These are half wooden balls that have a flat background so that they can easily be stuck to a surface.
Glue
Any type of glue can be used to adhere the wood beads to the wooden background. A wood glue may be advisable as it is made especially for wood crafting and DIY.
How to Make a Scandi Style Wood Bead Mirror
Follow the steps below to assemble and make the wood bead mirror.
Step one
Taking the wooden disk, place it on a flat surface. Make sure there is no dust or dirt around in the area that you will be working in.
Step Two
Place the mirror on the wooden disk (you are not sticking the mirror to the wood disk at this point). Center the mirror on the wooden disk and work out how many inches the mirror needs to be mounted from the edge.
If you are using the wooden disks that I advise purchasing in this article, you should need just over an inch at the edge.
Step Three
For my mirror to be mounted on the wooden disk, it needed to be just over an inch from the edge of the wooden disk. Make sure the mirror is centered completely.
Step Four
Measure the edge as in the previous step, and then place the mirror on the wooden disk and make sure it is centered and inline with the marked edge needed.
Draw around the mirror with a pencil or marker (something that will not show too much), so that you have a guide on where to mount the mirror.
Step Five
Now that you have marked where the mirror will be placed on the wooden disk, you are ready to prepare the mirror to be placed on the wooden disk.
Step Six
Place the tape that comes with the mirror equally all over the back of the mirror. Place the mirror directly onto the wooden disk, within the marks that you made.
Step Seven
Once the mirror has been adhered to the wooden disk, you are ready to place the split wooden beads on the outer piece of the wood.
Glue each wooden bead on the back, and place the beads one by one all around the circumference of the wooden disk that is now exposed. The beads will form a circle around the mirror.
As you place all the beads one by one, try to move them into place so that they all line up next to one another.
That’s it! You now have a beautiful Scandi-style wood bead mirror!
